I need to replace an inner CV boot or the short shaft on a 96 Automatic Jetta. I've done them many times on a standard transmission with no problem. Can't remove the short shaft because the joint is too big for the hole. Looks like I need to drop the transmission to make room. Any suggestions?

Hey guys, Thanks for looking at my thread. Do the two bushings on each front lower suspension arm last substantially longer than the ball joint at the end of each arm? The reason I ask is that upgraded bushings are available for sale individually and the ball joint is not, my Haynes manual...

I have just had to replace both sets of tail lights in our 2009 Passat because about a third of the both the brake and indicator LEDs stopped working. I am shocked by this as they are pretty damn expensive and LEDs are supposed to be long lasting. Both sides had failed so it was a big bill. I...
