08 Polo iPod dock removal / aux fitting.

Hi, I currently have an 08plate polo Match, it came factory fitted with an iPod dock that is useless to me!

I have figured out roughly how to remove this but wondered if anyone could tell me how easy it would be to fit an aux?

Would the aux go through into the glovebox if I bought the relevant parts?
