Found the trans. It took 2 months to find a used one that didn’t have the bell housing internal scrape. But all is well and if you do a clutch, make sure you replace all of the plastic parts too. They are the root cause of the scrape.
08 Rabbit Transmission Interchange?
Newbie (me!) just acquired this car. Trans needs to be replaced. Wondering if there is a chart/site that can tell me what 5sp manuals would be a direct swap for this car? Plan is to buy a used one, but my thoughts are if I can increase my search from just 2008 Rabbit 5 sp manual, I might get greater results. I dont know what the existing trans code is, but the plan is to use it as an everyday car. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
