I have owned my 2013 Jetta Hybrid for the past three years.

I just realized VW is making my warranty expire sooner by having the speed sensors
read from 5 to 7 % too fast.

Even if it has likely saved me from some possible speeding tickets, the actual speed/distance from satellite reference (Garmin GPS) is lower ( 103 kph versus 110 kph ) and robbing me from VW warranty in the long run.

Have any other members experienced the same ?

You do realize that 5 to 7% is a lot!

3% is about average, 5% would be like going from 205/55/16 to
205/45/16, with the already 2-3% faster spin.

That's an extra 91 revs per mile, from 835 to 926, 9%, 60MPH is actually 54.2

Mine, when I see 65, I am going 61, around +31 revs per mile, roughly 3%.
