I inherited a 2008 Jetta. Most all works fine, but the radio display is blank. I can turn it on and listen to the radio (tap on FM), adjust volume via the knob, etc. BUT, the display is completely blank. No text shows at all. I can change channels, etc, but can't see anything else on the display.
I also can't use the aux cord, even though I tap on CD twice. Seems like it is disabled or not functional as well as the display. Because it is working, I am presuming that it is getting electricity and that the fuse must be OK. Of course, I have no idea as this is the first VM I've owned.
Any suggestions on how to reset the display controller (if that is even an option) or control perhaps its intensity (maybe it was turned down/off)?
