2017 Jetta SEL - Key fob no longer opens the trunk

My key fob works on everything except for unlocking the trunk when I press the button. I have to unlock all the doors, then either pop the trunk with the trunk latch or use the trunk release in the car. Any ideas? The car has only 34k miles.
