Hi all,
I’ve recently bought a 2008 cc 3.6 vr6, it’s a tidy car but I have noticed there is white smoke out of the exhaust when idling.
There is a reasonable amount and it resembles condensation smoke like when starting cold but it doesn’t stop when the engine is warm.
Under load it doesn’t really smoke much (if at all), it only happens sat in traffic whilst idling.
It’s defo not the dreaded blue or black smoke and it drives perfectly.
The oil and coolant both look fine although the oil level isn’t quite up to the max.
Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
Burning oil springs to mind but that’s my previous nightmares coming back from owning a 2.0 tfsi A4 ?
Thanks for any help
Ben
