Just got an old 91 that is in good physical shape. Had the engine compression tested and found that I had an average of 390 psi per cylinder with no more than 5% variance between cylinders.

The car starts well and drives well. My plan is to use it to cruise the freeway for 2 years as a commuter. With the low compression, if I baby it, do you think I could get 2 years out of the engine?

390 psi is still excellent compression for these motors. Now if you had below 300 you would have a hard time starting even in the summer
