The bolts holding the A/C bolts in place keep falling out due to vibration from the engine. It's happened before. I tried loctite, but they came out anyway. This time the compressor hit the lower radiator hose causing it to wear through and burst.

Anyone else have this problem? Is there a more permanent solution?

Never had one of those leave, but I had a power steering bolt 8 inches long leave a couple of times.
I would make sure that you are using grade 10 bolts and lock nuts.....

You may have to tap them to a larger diameter and then use new bolts and locktite. The permanent solution to your problem is what folks refer to as the A/C delete mod.

Mornin' Spoman,
Excessive engine vibration caused by bad motor mounts, can cause bolts to loosen, proper compression/lock washer and torque spec and your all set. Shop owner,45yrs..............Podaic
