Hi just topped up my adblue tank to full capacity on my 2015 touareg, problem is the warning light is not going out and still counting the mileage down to zero, i have tried the ignition only switch on for 1 minute before starting no joy, also i was told that the light should go out after i have travelled 50 or so miles again i have driven at least that and no joy

Does this need to go to VW for rectification

Any thoughts please

Best regards

You have to let the car sit 30 seconds with the "key" on, motor not running, for it
to notice that it has been filled.

VW Master Tech:
Once you have filled the car with adblue, all you need to do is turn ignition on for 30
seconds and then off and back on again.

If it does not go off on its own, then it's a trip to the dealer...
Once you top off, it's supposed to go off on its own, it says so in
the user manual. SO, if not, then there is a problem.

I have had this same issue on my 2016 Lux model. Took it to the dlr in Vegas. They cleared the codes so I could start it again, but offered no idea why the level was not recognized. Has anyone had any luck with solving this issue? TIA
