Bad lowering!
Hi all,
Looking for advice for improving my wife's Golf.
She has a 2011 1.6TDi Bluemotion. When we bought the car, it was already lowered. But it seems that rather than do a proper job, the previous owner just put lowering springs on the original shocks. It therefore is rather harsh over rough ground and the shocks don't do a great job of preventing bounce.
She wants to keep the car lowered, but the ride quality needs improving. I have suggested that we look to installing MK6 GTi or equivalent specification suspension.
Looking for recommendations for where to buy OEM GTi suspension or what the aftermarket equivalent would be for ride height and stiffness/dampening.
