CC ambient air temp sensor

Ok, so I have a 2010 cc with the 4cyl turbo engine and dsg tranny. It was in an accident and the lower front end got pulled off when the wrecker pulled it from the heavy brush it ended up in. The car is all but fixed except for the ambient air temp sensor. It is showing the code and I cant find anywhere on my search where the sensor goes or where the wires for it come from. Can anyone tell me where it is supposed to be and where I can find the wires in the harness.
