Does anyone know if there are any classic car courses or workshops in Glasgow, Scotland that I could go to? I need to learn more about how to maintain my 1970 Beetle ??

I think I am a lot older than you but way back when there were books. I remember one that was ". . For Dummies". I think there was one for vw bugs. These bugs were designed to be easily maintained. Reading your other posts you sound quite capable.

I don't know how it is there. Here we have "junior colleges" and city colleges that only cover first two years if a four year college program. Most have trade related classes including auto mechanics. A basic automotive course may be of use. The problem of course is technology has made everything on an air cooled car obsolete. U-tube is a savior for me oftentimes. You may be stuck with books, videos, and hsnds-on trial and error. Are there any vw bug enthusiast clubs around? Or vw shows?
