I've got a 1999 MK4 Jetta 5 speed 2.0. Gls A few days back my my engine cut out out of nowhere and it turns out the fuel pump relay was bad. Replaced the relay and the fuel pump. The car still won't start the car cranks, but engine won't start. if I add starter fluid it tries to start but instantly dies. There is no primer sound from the fuel pump. And after some testing it turns out views 28 isn't getting any power. There is power at the Linking fuse on top of the battery. There is power at fuel pump relay, but no power at use 28. The fuel pump relay clicks when I turn the key. So I am assuming the relay is getting power. So that means the ECU should be working, right? What am I missing? Can anybody help me please?
