HELP 1998 Vw 6NI hatchback central locking pump and fuel flap wont open
Central locking vacumn pump has failed...a car electronics friend is trying to fix the pump so i have no part number
His wife is very ill so i cant get info currently
The boot and the fuel flap are locked solid ...but i desperately need to put fuel in my car
Can someone please help me
Page 93 of the manual that came with the car from new (its my 3rd polo) gives instructions to manually unlock fuel flap but they simply do not match my car ...i have tried everything and i am not stupid but the lever the manual says is there is missing ..
VW uk quote a totally different vacumn pump part number to everyone on E Bsy who is selling used parts
Somehow i need to replace the vacumn pump and more importantly get the fuel cap open ....please someone help me
