Interchange engines for my 2010 CC

I need to replace the motor in my 2010 CC, 6 speed. The engine is a CCTA digit is L. Does anyone know is the later model engines could be an easy install/interchange? I am looking to buy a complete wrecked car as a donor becuase its the most cost effective appraoch.
