[Bobs your uncle]

My daughter has an 2009 Golf that I just had to replace the starter in. I don't know if its related or not but now every time she locks or unlocks the car the alarm goes off? Any help would be great!
I did try reprograming the key myself (through You Tube Videos) but nothing has worked.
