My '13 had 243,550 miles on it, I got **** for it. In fact, I got LOWER than the
Edmunds and KBB value, yet they said we'd get September 2015 values in excellent
condition, minus mileage. All it did was pay the loan off, and I got half the last
payment I had to make on it...
Both KBB and Edmunds had CURRENT values of over $10,000 for my TDI, in excellent
condition, with 243,000 miles. I got well under that from VW, as you can see. So,
I have no idea where they came up with $8275, when they were supposed to use
PLUS, that value was $9100 when I ran it through the first time, and it got botched.
THAT amount above was a MONTH later, and went down almost $1000! Screw VW...
If I did not need a car, I would have went elsewhere to buy a car, and this will be my
last Volkswagen, you can count on it. Dealer lied, got me in a new car before the
buyback was done and did not EVEN mention that I would have to make another
payment if the payment was DUE before the buyback finalized, WHICH they also
I do want a diesel, but I will wait on the 2018 Cruze 1.4 TD. I still see a 2015
2.0 TD pop up here and there, and I will try and scoop one up. I am done with
VW after this ordeal. Hillcrest VW ruined it for me, and still owe me two replacement
tail lights for the damaged ones, and haven't heard SQUAT from them. Same crap
when they promised me a KeyFob for the TDI when I got that, as it came with one,
I had to fight for that too... I have always owned dodge, and they bent over
backwards to make stuff right with the Charger I had, so, no more VWs for me,
back to Dodge for any gas powered car...
