Im leaving around 9 am from wilmington nc. Should take me about 4hrs or so to hit virginia border if anyone wants to tag along from there.

Well it took me 6.5 hours to get to Corolla, in the OBX from my house. I can't imagine it would be more than 4 hours from Wilmington to Ocean City.

Well, according to google maps 7 hrs. But ill be damned if it takes that long. Last time i went, i took i40 to 95 and then crossed over to 17. (stupid, i know, but it only took 6.5 hrs and it was my first time headed there. On the way back, took 17 the whole may, and it took 5.5-6hrs with rain, but was also after 4pm when i left ocean city on a sunday. So im thinking the most is going to be 6.5hrs. Hell, i make it to south river nj in 9ish hours, but thats all major highway. And no, i dont go the speed limit. lol.

Corolla is a lot closer to VA then wilmington. Im pretty much at the bottom of NC. The problem is getting to VA. I can drive a 1.5hrs out of my way to get onto 95, or just shoot up 17. Problem is i cant go 80ish on 17, i can on i40/i95.

Yea, geography fail on my part. I thought Wilmington was closer north for some reason.

That's the way I took from Winston.... I guess my drive to 95 takes a bit longer.
