Hello all,

Recently purchased a 2009 VW Golf MK6 2.0TDI.

I am getting the coil light flashing along with engine management light on. My local mechanic says not to worry about this sensor until MOT time( October 2019). I am worried this may cause damage to DPF or any other components or worried that car may go into 'limp mode'.

I have attached a few pictures( sorry don't have VCDS only a standard OBD scanner.

Could anyone point me in the direction if that needs to be replaced ASAP or where this sensor could be?
