Hi guys new member here. I’ve had my 2009 golf GTI for about 13 years now and this is the first time this happened to me. Just yesterday my radio stopped working. I mean it’ll start up but, it’ll stay on the Volkswagen screen. After a few minutes, the screen will go blank and then tries to start up again.
Do I need a new radio? Or can this be fixed? Thank you in advance.

No. I think I have to I change out my radio. I tried “rebooting” it multiple times. It sounds like the hard drive failed or is failing

I’m in no rush to get it fixed. I’m using my phone as my music player.
