Setting Home in Navigation

I have a 2012 Beetle I bought used. I am trying to change the home address in the navigation to my current address. I've tried typing in the address as well as using the location option but every time, it goes back to the previously saved address. For some reason it won't actually save what I input. Any ideas on work arounds for this?
