I bought a Mk5 2009 Rabbit a few months back all stock and i am looking to get some cheap HP upgrades. I've been really thinking about getting a stage one tune but i'm not to sure how much that will cost. I heard a 2009 Rabbit has about 170 Hp and i'm looking to maybe push to 200 HP. HELP ME PLEASE!

DOUBLE POST! Why, you want a different answer?

There are no cheap upgrades for substantial horsepower with the
2.5 engine. You want +30 HP on a naturally aspirated engine, which
won't be cheap, and almost unobtainable without serious hardware
upgrades.

APRs 2.5 ECU upgrade only nets 10HP with 91 octane fuel, and 11HP with
93. So, now you're using more money on the back end with higher fuel
costs, at $3.00 or more per 10 gallons of fuel.

Unitronic, same deal for +12 HP.

$350 to $400 for +11HP, and higher fuel costs; so overall, it's not low cost.

I saw integrated engineering's tune, stage one +6 HP for $549, and then
they had a stage 2 : +35-40HP & +8-12TQ, $649,. Then you need the intake
manifold upgrade ($800), and more than likely a nice intake. Now you're into the
$1800+ range for your +30HP.

No stage one will provide +30HP for you.
