Code 00665: Boost Pressure Regulator Control
Second warning light, Code 00257: Mass Air Flow Sensor
These lights suddenly have appeared. Notice a slight hesitation for power going uphill and also shimmering metallic sound when depressing the gas pedal to increase speed going uphill but only get this going uphill.
I bought the car used; it has 97K miles.
I went to a local garage and they only had open appointments two weeks down the road.
Aside from the rough shifting into higher gear it rides ok. Just had an oil change prior to the appearance of the lights and they checked out everything and said everything looked good. Put in a new battery six weeks ago.
Does anyone suggest I not wait that long and find another garage to look at it?
