My brother just fully repainted his 1985 two-door golf. Now it looks (and drives) just like a brand new car.
However there is one problem. The chrome trim embedded in the rubber around the passenger door window is bent from when a guy tried to broke into the car and tried to steal the radio.
The body shop couldn't get a new piece of trim.
I think the new piece of trim would make a great Christmas gift for him.
Any ideas how to get one? It seems the dealer don't stock trim for 35-year-old cars.
Cheers, r
