im new to the VW world and excited to be here. Bought a 69 this weekend! While driving it home, had no brake lights. (wife following said) got home pumped pedal and got brake lights. As for reverse light super dim. When it decided to come on. Removed lens to check ground/connection/seemed ok , cleaned contacts .
Anyway, my problem is the brake lights are lighting when I step on the pedal nor does the white reverse light come on when I put it in gear. I have turn signals both front and back and running lights however when I turn the headlights on left side blinker stays bright and does not flash... so while all this is happening I step on the brake pedal and no brake lights. Any advice for me?
