After spilling coffee in my center console, my 2013 Tiguan’s emergency brake is stuck engaged. The lights on the switch intermittently work, I can hear the motor operating, but depressing the switch won’t disengage brake rendering my vehicle undriveable. Any ideas? Is there a fuse or relay I could check, if I disconnect and reconnect battery, would that possibly reset the computer? I don’t have a dealership closer than 100 mi, nor a good mechanic, so I’m on my own
