Does anyone know how to remove the headrest guide for a 2019 Tiguan? I need to replace the plastic trim piece that sits under the back middle seat headrest guide but cant figure out how to get the guide out to perform the replacement. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Ugh, yes. Do you have a long flat screwdriver with a narrow blade? First, push in the adjuster tab on the headrest and lift it just slightly past the last lock point. While holding it there, insert the blade of the screw driver into the slot on the base of the other post and push to release the lock. Pull up and both posts should come out. This system is the same across most VWs.
