Help please, to identify Sensor.
2009 2.0 TDI SE 50K Miles. Had brief coil light flash twice, fault code reader shows "Pending" Code P0544/$07E8 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1.
No symptoms other than indication and pending code. Have read that this can lead to DPF clogging and failure so keen to avoid and resolve. Can someone please advise which sensor this code is identifying, dealers no help, Euro Car Parts sell only one of the sensors (with orange plug) so guess this is common failing sensor but at £130 would like some reassurance that I will be changing the correct sensor.
